What Is the Internet?

The Internet is a global network of interconnected computers and networks that communicate using standard communication protocols.

It allows users around the world to:

  • Send emails

  • Access websites

  • Stream videos

What Is the World Wide Web (WWW)?

URLs (Uniform Resource Locators)

A URL (Uniform Resource Locator) is the address used to locate a resource or web page on the internet.

Web Servers

This process happens within seconds.
